Peter writes: It was one of those days when the weather forecast was not particularly attractive, for those of us who are over eighty it is more important to meet for lunch than the cycling to get there. So in view of the possibility of drizzle and a very cold North East wind we decided to take the easy option. As it was scheduled for Stetchworth, it fell to me to arrange transport.
I picked up Vic, then George and finally Clive. We took a leisurely ride to Stetchworth via Six Mile Bottom and Dullingham. When we arrived, John Temple was already there waiting for us.
We spent around an hour and a half having a drink, eating lunch and discussing many things.
