Peter writes: Although the forecast was for rain in the afternoon we decided to chance it. It was a beautiful morning and it was pleasant riding in the sunshine. We took the route to Swaffham Bulbeck where we had our coffee at the War Memorial. From there we crossed the A14 and A1304 to Dullingham.

We had a good lunch at The Boot (more than most of us could manage). After lunch we returned to Cambridge via the A1304 and A1303 (Nine mile hill).
