Rides in March and April

Spring is here (let's just hope the winds ease off as well before too long), and we're pleased to announce our rides lists for March and April.

We have found some new stops to try - it is good to find some new cafes but we are sad to see old favourites closing this year. Please do help us out here and let the runs secretary know of any new new openings or any closures that you discover.

There are changes to all the Sunday rides when the clocks change.

The Sunday day rides change to an earlier 9am start in April and we also start having longer rides. The first longer "full day" ride is on 2nd April and we then have a mix of longer "full day" rides and the shorter "light day" rides on alternate weekends.

The Sunday afternoon rides change to a later 1.30pm start in April. This earlier start seems to work well and gives us a wider choice of tea stops as many nice cafes close a bit earlier on Sundays.

All our other rides continue with their usual format. In particular the Thursday rides continue with an earlier start time of 9.15am for the city start.

Lastly, a reminder to you all to please volunteer to lead a ride or two so that all our rides have a leader. And a thank you to everyone who has already put their name down. Rupert Goodings, Runs Secretary
